Outstanding fees for things like residence and tuition are posted to your student account to the 18th of each month, with fees due on the 10th of the following month. For example, if you have fees due April 10, the amount owing will be posted March 18. Undergraduate tuition fees for the fall semester will be posted to your account by August 18 and are due by September 10.Canada Goose. Each statement calculates the minimum amount due that month and states the due date. Be aware that interest accumulates on overdue fees so be sure to pay on time!
Once you have figured out how much you owe and when the payment is due, it is time to pay. You have probably set up online or telephone banking with your financial institution after paying your enrolment deposit. Use that same account (with your student number as the account number and payee name ‘York University’) to pay all other fees. Make sure to allow enough time between your payment and the due date as it can take up to four business days for your funds to be transferred to your student account. Canada Goose. It may be a little confusing at first glance, but by your second payment you will be a pro! If you’re still having trouble, please refer to the Student Financial Services web page on paying your student account.

I’m working for Professor Anne MacLennan and her research is all about radio in the 1930s. It’s a RAY position and I’ve done interviews with seniors about their memories of radio. We’ve done over 600 interviews for the project.Canada Goose. There is a whole team that has been doing interviews and I’ve done about 60 or so interviews throughout the year and a half I’ve worked for Anne. I’ve also done transcriptions of all those interviews using speech to text software. I’ve done microfilm work, reading over newspapers from the ’30s, and I’ve done achieves work from CBC documents. It’s a lot of field research, taking to different retirement homes to find seniors to interview. It’s difficult to find people to interview that age, so we did a lot of contact calls and went out and tried to find contacts to interview.
I am in communications so I’ve learned a lot about radio during the 1930s because it’s not always something that is talked about in class. As well, Canada Goose,it’s been really helpful for me to give me an idea of what research is like and it’s helped me figure out that I want to go ahead and do a masters and do my own research projects. It was really helpful in putting together my masters applications.
For sure finding seniors to interview is the quirkiest thing because we’re phoning them up and they have no idea what we’re talking about. Probably the weirdest is when we were trying to find interviews for the Northwest Territories and Nunavut, because we are trying to get interviews from across Canada. We set up one interview with an old lady and we spoke to her daughter about it and the old lady didn’t speak English, but we didn’t know that at the time. I set up the interview for my colleague who was going to the interview and he got in touch with the Canada Goose lady and she didn’t speak English what so ever.

In the past week or two we saw some big changes at the Keele campus. For months now, commuters and residents dealt with the subway construction at Murray Ross Parkway and Keele Street but now the construction has moved onto campus. The construction covers the east end of the Commons, across Ian MacDonald Boulevard to the east corner of Schulich and south across York Boulevard to the entrance of the York Research Tower. Luckily,Canada Goose, York created all sorts of new roadways and walkways so the construction won’t get in your way.
The Schulich School of Business offers two of Canada’s most prestigious degrees: the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and the International Bachelor of Administration (iBBA). They’ll provide you with a strong foundation in business that goes beyond the traditional areas of commerce and economics.
Thinking about taking your business degree to the world stage? If you’re considering working abroad or for a multinational corporation,Canada Goose, consider an exchange while pursuing your BBA or enrol in the iBBA program which includes an international study term and language student component.
Anisha, Namita and Simrat chose York because they knew that York could offer them an excellent academic and practical preparation and a well-rounded experience, all in a diverse multicultural environment. They knew they would benefit from the uniquely interdisciplinary approach that York takes to education.
On Friday we went to my Grandmothers house to pick up the furnature.Canada Goose. After we got there and I showed BF what I wanted to take; we ended up with just the bedroom set.
I was not going to push it because I did not want him to make a second trip (gas $). I would have liked some of the other items, but he was right and we really did not NEED them. Also they would have created clutter. He basically asked me if I was willing to get rid of something at the house in order to put the furnature where I was planning on putting them.
When we got home and were unloading the truck, he looked over and saw that the window was broken. I believe a rock got thrown into the window by the new lawnmower which was set to side discharge instead of mulching or bagging like we normally did.Canada Goose. He says that a kid must have thrown a ball throw it.
I don't care if he broke the window with the mower, it would have been an accident. But if some kid was in our yard throwing rocks at our window that is trasspassing and vandilism (crimes).
